Jacqueline Beaurivage fondly remembers her time at Campion College. To her, Campion has always been a beacon of excellence, service, and respect for all. After completing her BA in literature 1974, she continued her studies at McGill where she earned a diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Business Administration which eventually lead into her doctoral studies in the same area.
At the suggestion of a mentor, Jacqueline began an extensive journey working in financial services where she achieved great success. She was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Royal Bank, President and CEO of CIBC Trust, and held numerous Senior Vice-President positions throughout her career. In 2010, Jackie joined the executive team of the Ontario Teacher’s Pension Plan. Since 2014, she has been on the Board of Directors for Toronto-based mortgage lender Home Capital Group.
Jackie’s excellence and dedication to service for others is evident through her personal life. At 17, her youngest son was diagnosed with clinical depression and together they fought a battle against the life-threatening illness. Jackie became a spokesperson and advocate for mental health, eventually becoming a director, and chair, of the Mood Disorders Association of Ontario. Her goal is to raise awareness and ensure that her son and others receive the necessary support for their mental health.
Her passion and drive are anchored in her firm beliefs learned at Campion. Uphold and strengthen others in the community, no matter the challenge.
