The Prairie Symposium for the Common Good is a new joint project between the Jesuit Centre for Catholic Studies at Campion College at the University of Regina, the Jesuit Centre for Catholic Studies at St. Paul’s College at the University of Manitoba, and the Centre for Faith, Reason, Peace, and Justice at St. Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan. The annual symposia will be interdisciplinary, interfaith, and will look forward to forging connections among scholars, institutions, and communities of faith.

2025 Prairie Symposium for the Common Good
The 2025 Catholic Studies Symposium “On Human Solidarity for the Common Good” aims to foster thoughtful dialogue and collaborative thinking on the imperative of human solidarity for the common good. Human solidarity is more than something we strive to do. It reflects goodness itself.
The symposium seeks to provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary platform for addressing the multifaceted challenges and opportunities related to human solidarity. By engaging diverse perspectives and expertise, we aim to inspire collaborative efforts towards a more humane world for the common good.
This symposium will convene leading experts, scholars, and practitioners to explore how we can cultivate humane behavior towards one another, ensuring the well-being of all in our global community.
