1.3 Enabling Legislation

The Board will review the College’s enabling legislation, An Act to Incorporate the Catholic College of Regina at least every three years.

The purpose of the review will be to ensure the College is complying with the provisions of the Act and to determine whether amendments to the Act are required to ensure the College is able to meet its mission statement and obligations imposed by the Ministry of Advanced Education.

The Chair of the Board of Regents will be the liaison with a member of the Legislature if it is necessary to seek amendments to the Act.

1.3.1 Dissolution

After Campion College dissolves and pays all its debts and liabilities, it will distribute or dispose of its remaining property to qualified donees as described in subsection 149.1 (1) of the Income Tax Act.
