Tutor Mentor (Teaching Assistant)

Tutor Mentors are needed to assist with sections of English 100 in the Fall 2024 semester.

The role of the Tutor Mentor will be to assist the instructor and may include marking of assignments, consulting with students about their writing projects, and carrying out other duties as needed to help successfully deliver the course.

The Tutor Mentor stipend, including holiday pay, follows the CUPE 2419 Student Collective Agreement and is based on up to 8 hours per week for each section.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate, honours or senior undergraduate English major. Applicants with demonstrable strengths in writing effectively at a university level, and who are graduate, honours, or senior undergraduate majors will also be considered.
