“Trans/Sublimation: On Living an Abject Life”

The abject is neither subject nor object, but that which is radically excluded. Grounded in Kristeva’s theory of abjection in Powers of Horror, this talk explores what it means to be abject, and how to live despite (or in spite of) this reality.
