A program for first-year Campion students exploring professional career paths
The Basics
- This is a program for first-year students enrolled through Campion College
- Students may be interested in this program if they are planning to pursue studies in professional programs like Medicine, Law, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or others
- In Fall 2026, CPDP sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 11:30 am – 12:20 pm
- The first session will be Tuesday, September 15 at 11:30 am in the Auditorium, on the first floor of Campion College
- There is no cost to students to participate!

Where is the Auditorium?
The Auditorium is located on the first floor of Campion. If you are standing at the spiral sculpture looking into the Student Commons, the Auditorium entrance is on the right, past the alumni banners. The signs at the entrance say Riffell Auditorium.
Does this program cost me anything?
No! This program is a free offering from Campion College!
Will I get a grade?
No, this program is not a class and will not show up on your transcript or receive a grade. There will be no reading or homework, either – you just have to show up.
Do I have to attend every week?
We will not be taking attendance, and if you have a lab or work schedule that conflicts with program times, you can still attend the sessions you are available for. However, we strongly encourage you to keep your schedule as clear as possible for the sessions, so you can get the full benefit of the program.
What will the sessions be about?
Topics include:
- How to be successful in University
- Building the skills that professional schools are looking for
- Evaluating your current career path
My friend wants to attend, too. Can they come?
If your friend is a Campion first-year student, they are welcome to participate. If they aren’t a Campion student, they are welcome to transfer to Campion. In either case, they should contact campion.registrar@uregina.ca
I am not officially registered as a Pre-professional student, can I still participate?
Absolutely! We hope that this program will be valuable to students who are set on a particular course, as well as those who are simply exploring their interests. Any Campion first-year student is welcome to attend.
