Strategic Plan 2026-2031
MAGIS: A Foundation for the Future
I’m pleased to introduce Campion College’s Strategic Plan for 2026-2031 titled MAGIS. This vision builds on the solid foundation of our previous strategic plans.
Since our founding in 1917, we have committed ourselves to providing a transformative education in liberal arts and sciences that is anchored in the Jesuit tradition. Now more than ever, the world needs students who know how to think, not what to think. Guided by our Jesuit identity and united in our commitment to academic excellence, inclusive community, and service to others, students leave Campion with an education that matters for a lifetime.
As we plan for the next five years, we are well-positioned to move forward with renewed energy and a clear vision that will enhance academic excellence, student experience, and community engagement. We aim to develop a plan that both strengthens Campion College’s identity while ensuring our sustained growth within a rapidly changing world.
Through careful discernment during the 2024 Mission Priority Examen and the 2025 Strategic Planning process, Campion has prepared a positive path forward.
In the words of Pope Francis, we are engaged “in a shared search for truth, a greater horizon of meaning, lived out in a community of knowledge where the liberality of love is palpable,” Greeting to the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU), Vatican, January 19, 2024.
Our strategic plan supports and reinforces the Government of Saskatchewan’s vision for a strong province by ensuring Campion College continues to offer an education that prepares students to tackle the challenging issues in the world.
Dr. Joseph Riordan, SJ
President of Campion College
A Jesuit education is ideal for people who want to make a difference.
Campion College will build on our reputation as a place where students, staff, and faculty feel welcome, supported, and able to do their best work and learning.
Campion College will continue to lead and explore new ways to advance liberal arts and science education, helping students think critically, ask insightful questions, and produce high-quality work in the world.
Campion College will secure its long-term financial and institutional health by investing in people, partnerships, and the responsible stewardship of all of our available resources.
Campion College will develop new connections with students, alumni, academic partners, and Jesuit and Catholic partners, thereby expanding our engaged community and promoting Campion’s excellent work.
Thank you to the 2025-2026 Board of Regents for their work on the strategic plan.
