Entrance Scholarships - automatically awarded

The following scholarships for first-year, full-time students are automatically awarded and no applications are required.

  • Archbishop O'Neill Memorial Scholarship    $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Arthur Braun Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Campion College Centennial Indigenous Entrance Award  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to the self-declared Indigenous student with the highest Grade XII early conditional average, who is applying for high school admission into an undergraduate program for the upcoming Fall semester at Campion College. The student must be registered for full-time study, as defined by the University of Regina. This award was established in 2017 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Campion College.

  • Dorothy Boyle Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Emmet A. McCusker Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Joseph Duffy Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Patricia MacNeill Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Reverend Daniel Hannin, SJ Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Reverend Donald Flynn, SJ Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Reverend Isidore Gorski Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester. This scholarship is made possible by donations from friends of the late Father Isidore Gorski, former dean and long-time professor of Religious Studies at Campion College.

  • Reverend John Matheson, SJ Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Reverend John Toth Scholarship  $500

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College first-year student who is a Miller High School graduate and achieved the highest mark in Grade 12 English. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student at Campion College during the Fall semester.

  • Reverend William J. Kearns, SJ Memorial Scholarship  $1,000

This scholarship is awarded to a Campion College student entering the first semester of university studies and is based on the student’s high school early conditional average. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • Roy and Katherine Obrigewitsch Memorial Scholarship  $500

This scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic performance to a Greenall High School (Balgonie) student entering Campion College in the Faculty of Science directly from Grade 12. This scholarship was established in the memory of the late Roy and Katherine Obrigewitsch by her family. The recipient of this scholarship must be a full-time student during the upcoming Fall semester.

  • St. Kateri Tekakwitha Entrance Award for Indigenous Students  $1,000

These scholarships are awarded to self-declared Indigenous students applying for admission into an undergraduate program for the upcoming Fall semester at Campion College and are awarded on the basis of Grade XII early conditional average. Preference will be given to graduates of Mother Teresa Middle School in order of their academic averages. In the event that there are not three applicants who have graduated from Mother Teresa Middle School, the award or awards may be given to any Indigenous students in the order of their academic averages. The student must be registered in the upcoming Fall semester for full-time study, as defined by the University of Regina.
