38th Nash Memorial Lecture - Attached and Indifferent: Technological Living on a Lonely Planet; Dr. Gregory Kennedy, SJ
Dr. Greg Kennedy, SJ is a poet and author of An Ontology of Trash: the disposable and its problematic nature. A Jesuit priest, he is both amused and bemused by our complex relationships with our tools and systems. He looks for points of light and humour in the often grave and absurd workaday stuff of modern life.
As spiritual director at Ignatius Jesuit Centre in Guelph, Greg explores the confluence of spirituality, ecology and creativity. Trees, music and good conversation enliven him most, especially when they all go together.
