Message from the President
Welcome to Campion! As Canada's only Jesuit undergraduate college, we are committed to the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence and the formation of the whole person – intellectually, spiritually, socially and culturally.
At Campion, a federated college of the University of Regina, students are part of a vibrant community. In the Jesuit spirit of cura personalis (“care for the person”), they receive personalized assistance from our capable staff and a well-rounded education from our academically accomplished faculty.
Community is a greatly appreciated hallmark of Campion. In our courses, service learning projects, campus ministry and extracurricular activities, students develop core Jesuit values: becoming women and men for others, building community at home and abroad, and probing the depths of the human experience in the humanities, the arts and the sciences.
As Campion's president, I am excited to be part of a community that helps students discover and develop their full potential. The founder of the Jesuits, Ignatius of Loyola, called this the magis (the “greater” or “more”), a value that has enabled our students to make a difference in the world.
Dr. John Meehan, SJ
